Fair questions.
Straight answers, kept short.
Is singing required?
No. You do not have to sing. You can play, program, speak, produce, or build the performance another way.
So is this an AI course?
Yes. This is an artist-led AI course. AI can help with ideas, words, music, performance, sound, or final material. You set the goal, guide the work, choose what stays, and decide what gets released. We make the music in Suno. This is about more than writing a prompt.
What do we actually make the music in?
We mainly use Suno, a music studio in your browser. An AI helper can also offer ideas, find references, remember limits, review the song, and help with release plans. You choose when to use it. Tools change. The method stays with you.
What do I need to have?
You need a computer, headphones, and a quiet place. The class runs in your web browser — you will need a Suno account on a paid plan, from day zero. You buy it from Suno directly, it is not included in tuition, and the rights that matter attach to work made while the plan is held — current prices are on Suno’s own pricing page. We walk you through the setup on day one. No audio interface and no microphone required to start, though you can use them if you have them.
What if I’ve never finished a song?
Then you are exactly who this is for. The whole system exists because unfinished songs stack up.
What are the hours?
Sessions run 11:00 AM–5:30 PM ET, ten live days, live online, with lunch and two breaks built into each day. Evening work stays optional. The 2-Day Intro and the 5-Day Intensive keep the same hours.
Can my kid take this?
Yes. Artists can join from age 8. Ages 8–12 use an account run by a guardian. The guardian holds the login and runs the AI tools. The young artist makes the creative calls. Ages 13–17 join with guardian consent. The same Two Rules apply at every age.
What comes after Day 10?
For those who want to keep going. The Master Mind. A three-month season with the same group, applied to real records. Monthly listening reviews, hot seats, remote critique between meetings. And a Season Showcase to close it out. 18+, By application. Meet The Master Mind →
What about ownership and AI disclosure?
Day 7 covers rights, credits, splits, metadata, and current U.S. Copyright Office guidance. A rights professional joins the live call. This is education, not legal advice.
Do you release the song for me?
No — you will. Day 10, live on the call, with us there. That is the whole point.
What if I can’t make it live?
The Intro, Intensive, and 10-Day MasterClass happen live online. The Starter Kit is self-paced. We record every live session for students in that program. Replays stream only in the private studio. You cannot download or share them. Access ends one year after the program’s final scheduled live session. If you may miss a day, talk to us before you enroll.
How do I pay?
Checkout is a secure online payment from the enroll page. You have a confirmed seat the moment payment completes; for artists under 18, the parent or guardian completes checkout.
Is using AI required?
Yes. Learning to guide AI is part of the craft. You choose where it helps, what it makes, what stays, and what people hear. Your creation trail shows how the song came together. Rights can still depend on the law, your source material, other people, and the tools you use.
Refunds?
Cancel more than 24 hours before your original start time for a full refund. Inside that time, the seat cannot be refunded. A cohort transfer also ends the refund right.
